I was approached by the company to redesign and give a fresh take to the current website that serves as a purely informational resource to current and prospective clients for the company.
The overall challenge was to present the company's services as an "experience". The current website was overloaded with information on landing pages, and for new visitors, it was hard to gauge what the company was offering in a nutshell.
The company wanted to meet a tight deadline of three weeks to complete the project and go-live. I had my work cutout.
The target users of the site are teachers and education administrators seeking remote certified teachers, standardized curriculum, and paraprofessionals to meet long-term shortages in the classroom.
This effort was purely a UI design effort on my part. I collaborated with the company's Brand Manager to prioritze content to meet the tight deadline.
The structure would follow a similar hierarchy to the current site.
The objective of the new site was focused on creating a seamless path and have users focus on one concept at a time, therefore allowing ideas to be consumed at a reasonable pace.
We wanted to keep the site familiar, yet focus on the new approach. I decided to keep the primary green and secondary purple colors, but used as accent features rather large splashes of color across the page.
I was able to meet the company's deadline to provide the new design. Development efforts were handed off and the company has made it's launch date. It was well received, and the company hopes this will give them the leading push in the industry.
